Deep One!
December 8th, 2011I just finished Bryan Wynia’s course about concept sculpting for games, movies and maquettes and can’t wait to share the awesome stuff i learnt in this course!
Here is my take on a “deep one”, a creature described by H. P. Lovecraft in his novel “Shadow over Innsmouth”.
I had a lot of fun sculpting and painting this guy, studying all the small details to make him creepier
High End Fantasy Game Art Creation
September 7th, 2011After few months, i managed to finish my assignment for this awesome CG Society course held by Katon Callaway.
The course is really good and Katon proved to be an awesome teacher, i recommend it to everyone that wants to learn how to create a game character from start to finish!
The concept for this model comes from an illustration from Paul Bonner, an artist that has Games Workshop, Fasa and Rackham in his clients list: i can still remember his illustration for Mutant Chronicles when i was a child…
Here are some presentation renders, made with Marmoset toolbag!
Heavy Gunner
May 26th, 2011I found the time to finish my model made for the Clement Sauve’ tribute challenge.
Modeled in Zbrush and Maya, rendered in Maya and composited in After Effects; i played a bit with the color correction to achieve three different moods using the same render passes
Clement Sauve’ Tribute Challenge
March 18th, 2011I joined the challenge in memory of master concept artist and illustrator Clement Sauve’.
Here you can find the challenge thread on www.cgfeedback.com, while here you can view some of the works of this great artist, including the one i based my model on.
I plan to make some better renders of this guy!

I plan to use this setup to render all my 3D sculpts.
